As President Donald Trump has been teasing a major deal announcement, UK Prime Minister Kirstama says he'll make a statement about trade talks with the US later today.

But trade deals often take years, not weeks, to hash out.

Despite the administration saying

it's in advanced talks with more than a dozen countries.

Instead, the deal Trump teased is more likely a memorandum of understanding.

So what does that mean?
