It's another day and another dollar for the administration from hell.

The newspapers this morning are full of the state of confusion that we find ourselves in after the Prime Minister's ill-advised

trip to Exeter yesterday where he inadvertently got the COVID restrictions wrong when asked about

them. The growing clamour for a rebellion in Parliament has increased over the new powers that

Boris wants over us. Already no one knows whether they can have a drink, who they can have a drink with,

which parts of the country are restricted to those who can't have a drink,

and then when those restrictions are likely to end, or indeed, begin.

It's not really surprising Boris is confused,

it's Prime Minister's questions today, and no doubt Keir Stama will be sticking it to him,

and he's then got a press briefing to organise with the brothers Grimm, Witty and Valance, whose firing has been called for already by some backbench senior MPs from the Tory party.

On top of that, he could still be defeated by his own backbenchers in the House of Commons later on.

Quite a busy old day for the Prime Minister.

I predict he's going to be pretty exhausted, as I said to Julia Hartley Brewer,

I don't know what I can do if I get a train to Newcastle. Can I get out and have a drink at the bar in the railway station?

Am I allowed to have some lunch as well with it? Am I allowed to invite somebody that I don't know to sit with me?

Am I allowed to invite somebody I do know to sit on and down the table?

Nobody knows the answer to any of these questions.
