today's devotional. Well, hey, you guys, welcome to our daily drive. If we haven't met, my name is Carlos,

and I get to be a part of the pastoral team here at Lake Point. And we get to hang out this week

for a few minutes every day as we dive into the word of God. And this week, we're talking about the fear of

the Lord. Deuteronomy chapter 14, verse 4 says this, serve only the Lord your God and fear only him.

Obey his commands, listen to his voice voice and hold fast to him and we also read that the

wages of sin is death and god has given us his grace even while we were still sinners christ died

for us and today for those that live in the fear of the Lord, they will find that their fear of God

destroys any other fear in their lives.

And here's the thing.

All throughout Scripture, it is clear that God's blessing and special care is over the

lives of those who fear Him.

Listen to what Psalm chapter 34, verse 7 to 9 says.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him and he delivers them.

Taste and see that the Lord is good.

Blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

Fear the Lord, you His saints, for those who fear him lack nothing.
