In episode 499 of The Astrology Podcast I interview a group of people about how the transit of Uranus in Taurus went for them over the past eight years based on the whole sign house it was transiting in their chart. With Uranus having just made its first ingress into Gemini, now is an excellent opportunity to review the last seven to eight years and understand the types of changes and themes that came up in our lives. The focus of this episode is to explore how the transit of Uranus through a specific whole sign house in your birth chart manifested. To do this, I'll be interviewing several people who will share their personal stories of what happened when Uranus transited through various houses in their charts—from sudden changes in their living situations and relationships to radical shifts in career and personal philosophy. We'll examine how these real-life events connect directly to the astrological symbolism. By looking back at these examples, the goal is to better understand the principles of a Uranus transit, as well as what Uranus means in general in astrology. This will help us anticipate and understand what the upcoming seven-year transit of Uranus in Gemini might mean for each of us, depending on which house it will be moving through in our own charts. 0:04.7	I'm going to be interviewing people about the recent transit of Uranus and Taurus and doing a
0:10.3	retrospective about what house it was transiting through in their birth chart over the course of the past
0:15.5	seven years and what sort of themes and topics and changes came up in their life during the course of that time that we can connect directly with the transit of Uranus.

0:27.6	So the premise of this episode is that Uranus just moved into Gemini last week in the past week on July 7th, 2025.
0:37.4	And a lot of people are wondering then, you know, what the transit of Uranus is going to mean over the course of the next seven or eight years as it moves through Gemini.
0:46.3	But one of the things that's important about outer planet sign changes or when slow moving planets change signs is it always provides you with an
0:56.3	excellent opportunity to look back at what that transit has been over the course of however many
1:03.3	years it's been transiting through that sign and to kind of do an assessment now in retrospect about
1:09.9	what the changes were that it brought up in your life.
1:13.6	And all of the planets signify change in some way.
1:20.4	And it's just the manner in which they bring about change in our lives, the types of changes they bring about, and also the
1:30.2	magnitude or the extent and duration of the changes that they bring about in our lives. So, for
1:38.3	example, over the past several months, I've been doing a number of episodes about the recent Venus
1:43.8	and Mars retrograde periods. And I showed how
1:47.4	with the Venus retrograde, it opened up a series of changes that were happening in different
1:53.5	people's lives, especially in the house it was transiting over that several month period
1:58.5	that lasted almost seven, almost six months from like January when it first
2:04.7	went into Pisces all the way until June when it finally departed from Ares, the sign that it
2:11.0	retrograded in. So that was like a six-month window where there was the unfolding of a sequence of
