Hey, everybody. What you're about to hear is some interviews that I did this past weekend in Binghamton, New York, at the PM Press and Riot Act organized upstate anarchist bookfare, Binghamton's a town, about three and a half hours from New York City, known mostly for its college. It's also something of a rust belt town.

0:23.6

People in New York don't talk about it very much. It doesn't have a particularly good reputation,

0:28.4

but PM Press moved there in the last few years. And so if you get a PM Press book,

0:34.0

chances are somebody in Binghamton, New York put it in a box and mailed it to you.

0:38.2

And they're been generous enough to invite everyone in the movement to their book fair every

0:44.3

year after the weekend after Mayday. And this year I went for the second time to sell some books

0:50.7

and then also meet some people. And I interviewed some people as well. So you're going to hear interviews with Andy from Riot Act Books, the local radical bookstore,

Phoebe, who is a solar punk writer, flock off Ithaca, who recently successfully got the

flock cameras out of their town, or at least decommissioned for police use, flower bomb from the anti-siv, anarchist war zone distro, as well as the comrades from the Bolshevik tendency.

1:20.4

But I also wanted to add some audio from our interview a few years ago with Ben Morea, who was one of the founders of Black Mask and

1:28.6

Up Against the Wall, Motherfucker, which were really inspirational New York City anarchist

1:33.8

groups in the mid-60s. Their writing is really great, and I have had the pleasure of knowing

1:41.0

him for the last few years and seeing him just recently before he left

1:46.2

New York this weekend, apparently, he passed away. And he was a fixture of anarchist book fairs

1:52.4

and errantous spaces for much of his life. And so I felt like it would actually be appropriate

1:58.6

to put a little snippet of our interview with him into this book fair episode.

2:03.4

And the links to that full episode are in the show notes.

2:06.7

It's free to listen to part of the Arm Love series.

2:10.1

So that'll be at the end.

2:11.3

And thanks for listening, everyone.

2:13.1

Imagination.

2:14.4

Beyond it is another dimension.
