So the first thing we learned on this week's episode of 80W Dynamite is that part two of Tony Storm versus Marina Shafira was cancelled because somebody had attacked Tony Storm backstage.

We have another mystery angle in wrestling, but it's okay because Mirrishil Kawa, Tony Thorne's best friend, has tagged in and she was going to take the opportunity instead, which can make you go, oh my gosh, maybe it was meaner that't it. Or maybe not, we don't know, that's the point. I would imagine as well, that probably ties into the fact that we were coming off a pay-per-view. And a lot of people were likely injured because they did go crazy, but we shall get into all of it, so my friends. My name is Simon the bald idiot. It is ups and downs, the only wrestling of you show you need. Well, we remember that wrestling is meant to be fun and that people that go,

0:40.3

if you like this wrestling show, you're an idiot, are not good and you should kick them out the window figuratively, mostly just ignore them. And you can ignore me as well, because you know why you have free will and you have the power, But as for now, let's take the fop, the good bit up, and bad bits are down.

And then, yes,

Will Osprey actually had a match on this episode of Dynamite. And listen, am I worried about Will Osprey? Yes, does he need my concern? Absolutely not. He is an adult. He is allowed to make his own choices. I would assume he's got a good medical team around him. And no doctor would go, sure, Will Osprey, go do wrestling when you don't have a neck. So even though I will have my

1:13.9

own worries, deep down and medical team around him and no doctor would go, sure, Will Osprey, go do wrestling when you don't

1:11.7

have a neck. So even though I will have my own worries, deep down in my tum-tum, Will Osprey is allowed to do whatever the flummy ones. He was taken on Blake Christian and some people are so damn because it wasn't a 50-50 match and I just totally disagree. One, I think when it comes to professional wrestling if you are trying to present it as real quote-on-quote, it should always be like,

1:30.3

oh my gosh, even though someone is an underdog, they are going toe-to-to-to.

1:33.9

But also, look at what New Japan does, or a lot of Japanese wrestling. If somebody does come back of a big injury, nine times out of ten, they will lose, because once again, they like to tie into the reality of, well, they haven't been wrestling for a long time. So how the hell would they be able to beat somebody that has been going the last few weeks, the last few months, even the last few years? What I'm trying to point out here is there is no right, there is no wrong. Will Osprey had a fun match with Blake Christian? And now do I think he's not a superstar because didn't win in seven seconds? No. And also, that allows WW to feel separate from AEW. I like AEW and I like WW. But boy, howdy, I do not want them to be the same. Osprey was over like crazy as well, which was actually quite the feat on this show because the crowd wanted to sit on their hands, which again is there right, but it does make for kind of a worse atmosphere when you are watching on TV, and it was Blake that did a lot of the flip and the flopping, and eventually he decided, I'm going to hit you, William, with the hidden blade, which is a terrible idea, because Osprey smashed him right in the face. He then hit another one, Blake Christian was dead, one, two, three. It did make me laugh because Christian was hitting neck breaker and DDTs. So he was going after the wound. When Will grabbed the microphone and was like, listen to me, John Moxley. You tried to break my neck using weaponry, but I will break your neck using my bare hands. You need to calm down, Will you sound like a psychopath. The writer's death came out instantly as well. totally strong John Moxie and Will Uta did, and Will Osprey just hit his go button, and he went totally nuts, but sadly for him, he forgot about Pack, and then Packed and then attack Will Osprey, and the really cool part is, only then did the useless rest of security come down to break it up, so apparently they were fine with Will kicking ass, but when the Bang Bang gang, we're coming after their match. The brawl continued, because Will run up the ramp way

3:11.0

and he just dove into the Death Riders, the man is nuts. So of course it makes sense to get to John Moxie versus Will Osprey as quickly as possible because without the Death Riders, Will wouldn't have got injured within the storyline. And imagine we hadn't come back to this, people would have had a meltdown, but really the long-term goal has to get to Wembley to get to All In and crowd will Osprey as the brand new AEW world champion. You can just feel it deep down in your bones. I am going to give it an up. Like I say, there is a lot to talk about. I feel like we've discussed it, but it was still a fun way to start. And don't I say it was better than what came next, because yes, it was the Bang Bang Gang

3:43.3

taking on the Death Riders. Now, to go back to what we said during the intro, I would imagine a lot of people were hurt and needed some time off and given how much effort was put in on Sunday night, I get it. But seeing Ace Austin and Juice Robinson against John Moxie and Wheeler Yuta, given what went down a few days ago. Well, it is somewhat of a problem that AEW does seem to run into here and there. You have this amazing show live on pay-per-view. And then you go to the following dynamite, and it's not bad, but it's just a bit drab. And that rhymes, so it must be true. Also, nobody thought the Bang Bang Gang was going to win win because that would have been totally insane. So this, I won't call it a weak crowd, because again, you can choose to make as much noise as you want, but they did come across as quiet when even more silent for this because they didn't believe, yeah, eventually John Moxie hit the Death Rider, I think onto Ace Austin, and he got the one, two, three.

4:31.2

So I am going to give it a down. That is nothing to do with the work in the ring, which actually

4:34.5

was very good, to the point I am going to give it an up, like it was a fine tag team match. But it is the down we need to focus on more, because even I kind of sat there going, well, I like juice, I like Ace, and I like Wheeler, and I like John, Daniel Bryan, or Brian Danielson, I should say it was very funny on commentary because he just kept ragging on Wheeler, you tur. I wasn't able to stir any emotion up after this, even more so, because we barely saw anything we see at all to Kester on this show. I feel like I would have enjoyed John Moxie saying something about that, but we didn't. That pay-per-view was great, but in many ways,

5:05.3

it's kind of like it didn't happen. We've got a video recap about everything that Gay, Kid, and Darby Allen have done to each other. This is probably going to be used in court when we get to trial, when Gay Kid was backstage and he was just going, Rah, Darby. I know we've got a coffin match later, but I want to fight you in a parking lot right now. And you can really

5:23.1

say that sentence in wrestling. Before we got there, Ah, Darby, I know we've got a coffin match later, but I want to fight you in a parking lot right now.

5:54.8

And you can only really say that sentence in wrestling. Before we got there, though, we had a quick Kenny Omega promo, and if I was going to read it to you, it basically went danger, danger, danger, danger, mouse. And he's assessed with danger, because Swerve Strickland's all about danger, and Kenny Amager doesn't like Danger, Swir Strickland. The point is this though, now that swerf strickland is the number one contender this was so damn funny for reasons we'll get to later on he wants to take on swerve next week to see who the real number one contender is and listen kenny amega is a megastar so is swir strickland so that is a good match i do have one issue with it but will wait until the swerp promo, but it did get confirmed and actually there's another stipulation on the line.

5:59.0

We then throw one of the crime counters who went back to Gabe Kid, and yep, Darby Allen tried

6:03.9

to run him over with a car. He totally failed when they started to brawl, so Gabe Kid gave

6:08.5

him a power bomb onto that flipping vehicle. When

6:11.5

Derby recovered, he threw. Gave kid in the trunk after he had like choked him out with some

6:17.9

drugs and he flipped the damn thing. So that's at least two on the crown counter because he

6:22.1

kidnapped him. And also, you can't take chloroform, whatever it was, and try and, well, choke people out, not choke people out, but make the pass out. It's definitely against the law. Too on a crime catter. Eventually, they fought to the ringside area as well. Yes, it was a coffin match. And they just used a bunch of toys. I mean, there was chairs, people being thrown to simmering the steel steps. And we had blood, a lot of blood, special on D Derby Allen, every single week this guy gets killed. Gabe Kid had been trapped in a straight jacket by this bit too, which was quite clever because of course now Darby was bleeding all over him, so you had the nightmarish red. And as soon as Darby looked like he was going to hit the coffin drop, Gabe Kid went nope and he pushed the referee into the ropes, meaning Alan fell right into his penis.
