Coming up on today's wrestling news is a top WWE star, shockingly out of WrestleMania. A top AEW star is taking some time off. An update on the ricochet controversy in AEW. And a WWE star is injured. So let's dive in, yes, with a big star that could potentially be out of WrestleMania, not through injury, thankfully.

Well, well, I suppose technically, yes, through injury, but not through injury to them.

Yeah.

So, Gunther, what on earth is happening with him at WrestleMania?

Obviously, one of the big, big names yet to seemingly have a match set up for WrestleMania weekend.

And the reports are looking great, to be honest.

So unsurprisingly, the general reporting is that he was set to have a match with Ray Mysterio

at WrestleMania, hence why he's been kicking the crap out of Dragon Lee in recent weeks,

although he hasn't really appeared on the show after that.

And that is because of an injury to Ray Mysterio.

Body slam reporting that Gunther was set to face Ray with the angles with Dragonly setting all this up.

But Mysterio has suffered a rib injury.

That happened actually back in January during a match with Austin Theory on Monday Night Raw.

Ray did still take part in the Royal Rumble, of course,

but he hasn't wrestled since.

Gunther's attack on Dragon Lee earlier this month was his last televised appearance,

and now suddenly he has no dance partner for the biggest show of the year.

The other names that could have been mentioned alongside Gunther,

obviously the likes of Oberfemmy or Brock Lesnar. They're kind of busy right now, Phil. Yeah, a little bit. You need to have Gunther on this card, don't you? Yeah, the prospect of a WrestleMania without Gunther at this point is mental. It can't happen. I reckon you'd just do something stupid with it. was the the mania when like jericho
