And we are getting ready to jump into the first part of our upon further review.

Brian and I have dove into the film.

And we have watched Notre Dame beat NC State again, which was a lot of fun.

And we're here to talk about kind of what we saw.

And this is the fun part about Irish breakdown.

This is the fun part about my job, frankly, is that we get to jump into the film.

We get to watch the L-22.

We get to watch the end zone cut, which is my absolute favorite to watch.

And we get to check out, okay.

Spoken like a true triple option wide receiver.

You're not wrong.

Spoken by a guy who hung out with the offensive line a lot as a coach because if we

didn't get them right, we were in big trouble.

But anyway, we dove in and we like to see if what we saw live is still what we see when we watch the film back.

And that's the fun part about this show is sometimes things are confirmed and then sometimes things are not confirmed for that matter.

And I've got a little bit of both, I think, today, Brian.

And the bottom line is it's a good win by Notre Dame. Like you said, 36 to 7. I mean, second half was a dominating performance by Notre Dame on both sides of the football. And so we're going to jump into this thing, Brian. So watching the game back, what are your thoughts overall? We'll just kind of go with it. Well, you know, the one thing, Vince, I'll say it's not necessarily about the film, but something that we didn't talk about last night that's related to watching that the film wash session reminded me of was this is the second week in a row where, you know, the offense kind of struggled and the other team. Last week, Notre Dame trailed Boise late in the second quarter.

And then this week, you know, NC State tied it in the second quarter. It's a second week in a row where I just, even when that happened, I was like, all right, they'll be fine. It was always going to be about, well, what's the margin going to be? Where we talked about last year, there were times where it's like, dude, I'm a little nervous about this one. You know, because that, you just felt, you didn't always know if that offense was going to figure it out last year. And you still just kind of feel like this offense is going to figure things out. You kind of feel like this, you know, but it really comes down to the way the defense is playing. and that's really a big key, Vince, when you talk about a game that was, you know, 10-7 at half time and you just never, you know, like you felt like, this is a sloppy game. You're kind of annoyed, but I honestly never felt like Notre Dame was in position to lose the game, right? Because in you, and you pop in the film and it just, it backs it up,

they kind of dominated NC State in a lot of ways,

especially defensively.

You just really never felt like NC State had really kind of any chance to be in this game.
