| 0:00.0 | This week, we're releasing a remastered version of our episode covering the cases of |
| 0:05.5 | Denisto and Christmas Sto, as well as updates on both cases. Both unidentified |
| 0:10.9 | decedents were young children found in Georgia. It was their approximate ages and their |
| 0:16.0 | circumstances that struck a chord with our listeners. Of all our cases, Denist and Christmas Sto |
| 0:23.0 | are the two we hear about the most, from listeners who want to know if either case has seen any movement. |
| 0:29.6 | In this episode, originally released in 2019, you'll hear why listeners were so moved by |
| 0:35.7 | the story of a toddler found in the rural woods of Ware County in 1988 near Christmas time, |
| 0:42.7 | and a pre-adolescent boy discovered into Cab County in a cemetery in 1999. But first, |
| 0:50.0 | we want to provide updates on both cases. We contacted Special Agent in Charge Mark Pro of the |
| 0:56.5 | GBI's Region for Office to ask for updates in Christmas Sto's case. He let us know that they had |
| 1:03.2 | no new developments to share regarding her case other than the information that a new agent has |
| 1:08.9 | been assigned. We did become aware that the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, |
| 1:14.4 | Nick Mac, recently recirculated Christmas Sto's forensic art. It was on social media this June, |
| 1:21.0 | and garnered thousands of comments and shares. We can only hope that someone somewhere sees it |
| 1:28.3 | and recognizes her. As for Denist's dough, huge news has come in his case. When we contacted the |
| 1:36.0 | DeCab Medical Examiner's office back in May to inquire for updates for this episode, we were sent |
| 1:42.3 | to Director Patrick Bailey. Via email exchange, Director Bailey let us know that Denist's DNA was |
| 1:49.1 | being processed at what he described as the FBI's lab, and that identification was imminent. |
| 1:56.4 | He couldn't give us a precise date of that information's release at that time. But on July 13th, |
| 2:03.2 | 2022, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children released the following information. |
| 2:10.3 | The child formerly known as Denist's dough, found deceased in 1999, was six-year-old William DeShawn |
| 2:18.1 | Hamilton of Charlotte, North Carolina. William's case was not solved through genetic genealogy, |
