Fancy meeting you here. What are you doing here, stranger?

Ha! You can tell him a little bit rusty, and it's going to take me a little bit to get back into things, hopefully not too long.

Hopefully that old experience bar, hopefully all the autonomic memory starts kicking in pretty quick.

But I wanted to speak to you guys from the heart and just give you a little update and say hello

and say, I missed you and say, please say hello back because I've been lonely without you.

So first off, I am doing better. Not faking it. It's taken a while for the meds to kick in. I'm on new meds.

And it's taken some time just to kind of breathe and decompress and kind of go through a lonely, dark period. So before I go any further,

you know, mental health is really under attack on a lot of fronts, I think, these days.

I'm definitely not the only one feeling down. And in a lot of your messages of solidarity and kindness and just reaching out,

it's very clear to me that many of you are also having some issues,

or people you love are having some issues, and on and on it goes.

So just be forewarned.

I'm going to talk about some heavy shit, and I cope a lot through humor.

And I know that you can hear that. And a lot of guys will say that they cope or that humor is their defense mechanism and then they'll say the most

wretched shit under the disguise that it's a joke. None of that. But, you know, I, in a way,

being super depressed is hilarious, right? It's very deadly. It's very serious. All kinds of

conventions have to swirl around it. There's all kinds of cultural mannerisms. But in another way,

it's very, very funny to be just so depressed that you're thinking about clocking out early.

Not just laying in bed too much, not just losing interest in things that you like,

but like really wrestling with the old eternal pit. And for me, I adamantly believe that you die and that's it. And I believe that when I'm happy, I believe that when I'm satisfied. I believe that when I'm up. You get one life and then it's done. That much we all agree upon.
