Hello folks, Dominic here with a small update. I was hoping to get a new episode to you

0:09.6

this week about King Hormab and the Upper Spools. Unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful

0:16.3

in getting that ready on time and it will have to wait. Despite my best efforts, it is time

0:22.4

to face the truth. I have had another period of burnout. It's been about two years since

0:28.5

my last proper burnout, so that's a good run in my experience. I've been taking good care of

0:34.5

myself and managing a better work life balance, unless the cycle can only be delayed, not

0:41.6

halted entirely. And in late 2022, my fuel tank has run dry once more. I am on top of it,

0:49.0

and I'll be back in due course. But that's where I'm at right now. For those interested,

0:55.2

1:20.0

but the house we are moving to was not ready in time, and we were only informed of that

1:24.9

at the last minute. That caused a mild panic. We had already entered the lease on our existing

1:30.5

house, and we couldn't change the moving date, so we had to scramble. Instead of moving then,

1:36.0

we shifted all of our belongings into a storage facility, and we went no-mad, technically homeless

1:42.5

for the next couple months. The delay in moving house had a knock-on effect on our travel plans,

1:48.9

from mid-November to early December, I was due in Egypt to run a tour. That tour went ahead

1:55.6

just fine. Everything was smooth, everyone had a great time. My thanks to all of you who joined

2:00.8

me on the tour, you know who you are. So that was great, but as you can imagine, running a tour while

2:07.6

also dealing with the house-moving stuff, not an ideal combination. But hey, we got through it,

2:14.0

and I am ridiculously grateful for the opportunity to lead these kinds of trips.
