Got you an interesting clip from 2009, Gladys.

Okay, I'll never forget this news story. This new story actually turned out to be a hoax.

Supposedly, and the scene was Denver, Colorado, a father had made an experimental balloon,

and his six-year-old boy somehow got in the balloon, and the balloon got untethered,

and the balloon flew across Denver, Colorado into the sky.

And oh my gosh, the six-year-old boy was stranded in this balloon,

and it was flying across the Denver sky, and everybody was tracking the balloon. All the media

outlets, helicopters, the National Guard was involved. Everybody wanted to rescue the six-year-old

boy. And it turned out later that this was a hoax in that the guy responsible

Richard Haney wanted to be on reality TV. And so he set this whole thing up. He ended up being

sentenced to 90 days in jail, which is good. And all the media outlets felt duped. And of course,

we were one of them. I got to admit, the newsroom, we were all watching this thing, live coverage, frightened for this six-year-old boy, who it turns out was hiding safely in the attic in this house. And the funny part of it was this little boy was on Larry King being interviewed with his dad, and this kid basically gave his dad away by looking at his

dad during the interview live on TV and saying, well, we did it as part of the show, at which

point everybody knew, okay, something's really wrong here. And so the next day, Joe and Jack

interviewed a reporter from Denver and talked about the whole balloon boy story.

And I thought this interview was pretty entertaining.
