And I'm not just talking about the junk in your garage or in the closet.

We also collect fears and regrets and neuroses. sometimes the two things come together like

that shirt that doesn't fit anymore but still reminds you of a better time or

the gift that was given to you by someone now long gone that makes you feel

uncomfortable and sad even though you'd never get rid of it. Today on the

program two stories about the unwanted.

This first one is about a boy who spent much of his teenage years

unwanted by those closest to him.

And then comes this one freezing Minnesota night

when he takes a brief trip to visit his past.
