Now, I'm going to start here, and this probably isn't what you wanted to talk about, and I know

you and I are going to disagree. So I think some of my subscribers know five, six days ago, I left

Washington, D.C., and with my two dogs, I drove to very

northern California. And Edwin, I love roadside motels. So I purposely stopped in a number of

roadside motels, talked to a lot of folks. By the way, I'm doing some of my conversations with people as I'm on the road.

But Edwin, you know how everybody always says, oh, we're not nearly as divided as social media and cable news tells us we are.

I think we really are divided. I really do. This, just this five-day

trip talking to people like, we're like in living in different countries right now, so many

of us. I don't disagree with that. If you're talking about politics,

we are divided. We are divided. The change the subject can talk about other things,

we're less devolved, right? But if you talk about all of things, we are devalued. And is this

sound terrible? I feel it. Tell me how I sound.
