I have been making comics for 39 calendar years, hired in 1986 and been been illustrating comic books

producing comic books creating comic books for basically my entire entire adult life

hired at 18 years old never look back so excited so thrilled to be able to make comic books, tell comic books of action,

adventure, superheroes, and then watch as these comic books that I picked up when I was a kid

off spinner racks in liquor stores, in food markets, at the 7-Eleven, watching how these have grown

and just become this giant force in pop culture across

all platforms of pop culture.

We're talking video games.

We're talking streaming, cartoons, obviously the films, toys, all the merchandise, the t-shirts,

T-shirts which are like little billboards for each and every character.

It is nothing less than astounding, especially given what little crumbs,

and that's what we were given while as a kid, crumbs of superhero stuff.
