Comic books has a long history with rock and roll rollers, rock and roll acts, pop music,

from Michael Jackson all the way to the Backstreet Boys, and in between you've got Gene

Simmons and Kiss and Aerosmith and Poison. These rock and rollers, they love their comic books and just witty hear how well

they sold the the one that kicked it all off was an all-time banger we're going to look at all

of these acts and all of these comic books as we kick off our rock and roll comic book series on an all new Robeservations.

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of Rob Observations. I am your host, Rob Leifeld. I have been

making the comics, producing the comics, drawing the comics, writing the comics,

creating the comics for 39 calendar years.

I did not know what to do with my life, so I made comic books.

I love comic books.

If you listen to this show even once or twice before, you know, my passion runs so, so very deep.

Comic books are my life right after my family is comic books,

or is it flipped? That's the great mystery. I think my own family would propose that,

is that really the right order? Bottom line, two things I love the most, family and comics,

and I love to talk about comics. I just appreciate all of you

tuning in each and every episode and check in with me as we review uh comic books in pop culture

their effects on pop culture, their impact on pop culture. I pulled them off spinner racks

at drugstores at food markets, at liquor stores, at 7-Elevens,

and then I discovered my first direct comic store, a store dedicated all the comics,

and you don't know how much that blew my mind at 12 years old, 1980.

Holy Spamoli, that was ridiculous.
