I feel like we might reach record levels of inclusivity

because it's bright here what do you mean the sun is out we're in a courtyard

rather than a dirty venue in Brooklyn at like 8 or 9 p.m. what do you mean

inclusivity like a little more eye contact acknowledging that we're not alone

that's horrifying I kind of like when, I kind of like it when it's dark and I don't see them. It's scary. It's very frightening because you feel the judgment, you see the judgment. When we make a joke and they don't laugh, it's very uncomfortable. But like, you know, when I don't see them, it doesn't feel the same way.

You know what I mean?

It's just like, oh, I said something into a void.

Well, voids don't laugh.

Right.

It's a void.

The feedback is mostly auditory, so scattered applause you can assume, you know, might be mixed.

It's not just that person who's been laughing the whole time.

Right, right.

Yeah. Also, when you see scattered a laugh, like one applause there, one applause there, one of them, it feels awful. Right. When you just hear it, you don't know. Right. You can assume that the other people, they might be deep in thought or parsing your great words. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's not about the laughter.

Yeah, and here

there's the risk of oh they're not parsed they're looking at their what they're checking their phone

there's no nothing is registering um but yeah so this is I don't know if inclusivity is the word I use

but I'm very afraid of this I use their own word right I mean it kind of, it's also intimidating to perform in a space like this, but, you know,
