Nicole Baldwin was last seen alive on November 2nd, 2023. She was 41 years old at the time and lived

in Mount Dora, Florida. Mount Dora is a lakefront town in central Florida, not far from Orlando,

and home to about 16,000 people. Nicole had lived in Mount Dora

for years, sharing a home with her husband, Brett, an Air Force veteran, and their three children,

a 20-year-old daughter, plus a 13-year-old son, and an 11-year-old daughter. Nicole wasn't originally

from Mount Dora or Florida at all, though.

She was from Germany.

But by the time of her disappearance, her life in the U.S. was well established,

and she and her husband had been living in Mount Dora with their children for over a decade.

Nicole's work history was varied.

She and her husband, Brett, had previously owned a small virtual reality video game arcade

that they'd run out of a mall in nearby Leesburg, Florida.

However, it appears to have shut down a couple of years prior to her disappearance during the pandemic.

Following that, Brett worked in some capacity as a plumber, and Nicole had worked as a DoorDash driver,

and at some point as a front desk clerk at a local hotel chain, and other times as a Cumber, and Nicole had worked as a DoorDash driver, and at some point as a front

formally employed at the time of her disappearance or only doing task-based work like DoorDash,
