Thanks for listening to Last Seen Alive. I'm your host Leah, crime analyst by day and true crime storyteller by night.

As always, I'm the co-host, Scott.

This is the revisited and enhanced edition of one of our early episodes with major investigative updates.

0:51.1

The original edition was recorded in 2021, and we've revisited and re-recorded an episode

0:56.2

on her case with the updates in 26. And revisiting Aisha's case is something I've really been looking

1:57.6

deal of information publicly available on the latest developments in the investigation.

2:02.2

And while no one has been charged, investigators are not being secretive about who their suspects are, or even really what they believe, happened.

2:09.6

There's certainly a picture that's been painted for the public anyway, and we're going to get into those details today.

Asia Degree was last seen alive on February 14, 2000. She was nine years old at the time

and lived in Shelby, North Carolina. Shelby is a town of about 22,000 people located about an hour's
