1985. She was 21 years old at the time and lived in West Seneca, New York, a suburb of Buffalo.

Leisha had grown up in the area with her parents and two siblings.

From a young age, she'd been creative with a love for painting, drawing, and reading,

and had had a great sense of humor, which made her a lot of fun to be around.

After graduating high school, she'd attended classes at Buffalo State and dreamed of one day being a professional

writer, perhaps a novelist. Meanwhile, she worked at a local pizza place waiting tables. As anyone

So, before a busy weekend of waiting tables, Leisha got dressed up and set out for a Wednesday night, January 30th, to have some fun with friends.

At about 6 p.m., she arrived at a female friend's nearby home for a get-together.

Lots of people saw Lisa at the club that night, and several even saw her leave, but no one ever saw her again after that.
