masters in security policy from Georgetown University. He's now in the media as a

journalist and a podcaster. Maybe not a journalist, I'm not sure yet. He's got a show called Breaking Points that he runs with his co-host Crystal Ball, a very popular show.

So speaking to the media, I've been trying to figure out a metaphor trying to figure out

what's going on and what the impact of the current media and social media

situation is and I was thinking about this so in my adult life I was most of my

life I was in the SEAL teams and we do a type of entire training and operation which we call close quarters combat.

This is going into buildings and clearing those buildings that means you're moving through

hallways and you're moving through rooms and you're moving through hallways and you're moving through

closets and doors and building to building.

And when I got to the seal teams in the early 90s, 1991 to be exact.

Not even had a radio with them.

So there might be one or two guys that would have a radio,

they could talk to each other.

Usually it was just the leadership, maybe the platoon commander could talk to the platoon chief.

And then as time went on and technology improved, maybe we would have four individual radios in the platoon.
