Let's talk a little bit about information.

Something a little bit more specific, that is intelligence, not intelligence like, hey,

you're smart, nom, dumb, but intelligence, meaning what do we know about the enemy?

The way we gather information is very particular in the military and sometimes you get bad

intel.

And sometimes that bad intel is because of the source where it came from, but sometimes

it's bad intel because it's just been shifted and manipulated and people have put their

own spin on it and you multiply that times two and then you magnify it.

It turns into something that it wasn't.

I know that's one of the, as I started looking into the MIli massacre, actually I did a

podcast on a book called Four Hours in MIli and there was something that was very

disturbing and that was the way that the intelligence, that the guys were going to take into the

field the way it changed and morphed as it went down the chain and command.

So at the division level, so at the division level, you know, at the general's level,

they described the village as something like, oh, this village has passive support to

the vehicle.

Get down to the brigade level level.

Well, that gets amplified a little bit, manipulated a little bit and spun a little bit to this

village supports the vehicle.

So it goes from like a passive support and don't quote me on these specific adjectives.
