in Wesley for an hour. That's always a character building exercise. Yeah it's

interesting as I was reviewing the notes for this podcast. You and I obviously

it's very easy for you and I to just get in a get sucked into a vortex of any

historical moment in time and to go deep deep into whatever that historical

context is and we were discussing what subjects we could talk about and I don't

know maybe we could go use something a text that had just had years just had

years 20th century years but you said what do you think of these years?

Which one stand out to you? Started with 1917 that it was like 1917 1934

1934 44 you just went through this list of just years. So what do you think?

Which one of these stands out? The 20th century is so insane and each one of

those as I looked through these years I thought to myself, I wonder what he's

thinking about that? Why do you pick that one? What's he thinking about there?

Because every one of these years has some key component that stands out to it

and then you start thinking about the years that you were bringing up and they

they have key component after key component after key component that sets

some kind of pivotal moment that that really has a lasting impact or a

series of events in a short period of time that has a lasting a lasting

impact in shaping the future. And Lenin said something along the lines of

there are decades when nothing happens and weeks when decades happen and so when

we look at years a lot can happen in a year and 1917 was one of those one of
