Today I want to talk to you about five strategies that will help you to eliminate the impact that haters have on your life. Being intentionally undermined, diminished, or disappointed by people that you've trusted, results in a special kind of pain. The fact is, if you are successful and dedicated to personal and professional achievement, racism and sexism increase the likelihood that you will encounter haters at some point in your life. about this myself as I have had my own encounters with people who are actively trying to

sabotage or hurt or diminish me in some way.

I think racism and sexism makes the likelihood that you will meet some haters in your

life much higher as a black woman. And I think it's a special

kind of pain to be undermined or diminished by people. Maybe you thought you trusted or you liked

and then were disappointed to find out they were different to people you've had friendships with

that now when you reflect back on,

you're thinking, they're not so healthy or they're always negative and they bring me down.

They never cheer on my accomplishments or they always think of a way to undermine the good

work I've done. Haters are going to hate. That's unavoidable. And if you are

the brilliant, accomplished, amazing woman I know you to be, then you are definitely going to

have your share of haters.

So it's not about avoiding them because I don't always know that there's someone you can avoid. It's more about being able to manage and eliminate haters in your life.

Nothing accelerates burnout like the weight and the pain of other people's attacks or sabotage.

And so we have to know how to deal with that and how to move on and how to not get stuck

and trapped thinking about the people in our life who haven't lived up to the expectations
