He is the CEO of McDermott and Bull, one of the largest executive search firms.

But more importantly, has activate 180 in a CEO of something that's more aligned with my core beliefs in this world of careers.

Rod, why and what is activate 180?

Hey Dave, thanks for having me today.

I'm excited to be here and excited to see you again after working across the hall for me for so many years at McDermott and Bull.

Working at a top 25 executive search firm, I've had the opportunity to meet a ton of CEOs and learn what works well with their people and what's not working with their people.

And also we've had an executive network with over 10,000 senior executives looking for their next job.

So I've also heard from them what they love about their careers and what they don't.

And so we've kind of honed all that data that we've gathered over the last 20 years to create activate 180, which is really kind of two different parts to it.

And love to tell you a little about those.

Yeah, before I get into the activate 180 too, because I didn't realize how big that McDermott and Bull has gotten.

I mean obviously we found all of our people, all the people.

I knew we found all their people being across the hall and always hearing great things.

How big has your firm got?

Yeah, so we've grown, I think since you and I office across the hall, we've expanded from Irvine still our head office.
