So tonight, we're going to talk about how we access the subconscious mind and how that helps you sleep.

Now, if you've been listening for a while, you've probably noticed that I often ask you to do something a little unusual,

like wiggling your eyebrows or imagining your eyes cannot open.

And if you've ever thought, what's the point of that? You are not alone. So here's what's

happening. Okay, as humans, we're operating from two different minds. There's the conscious mind,

which analyzes and tries to stay in control, and then you have a subconscious part of your mind,

which is more imaginative, more intuitive, and deeply connected to how you feel. Now during the day, the conscious

mind, that sort of controlling mind, tends to take the lead. But when we're trying to sleep,

that constant thinking or controlling, can actually get in the way.

So what we're doing here is gently inviting that part of the mind to soften

and allowing the more imaginative, receptive, subconscious part of you to come forward. Because that's the part of you

that knows how to relax, how to let go, how to drift. So when I'm asking you to imagine that your

eyes won't open, I'm inviting your imagination forward, asking the imagination to lead, and that's inviting

your subconscious mind to the forefront. Now, this isn't some weird magic. You already do this

when you daydream, when you get lost in a story or a movie, when your mind begins to

wander, and that ability is incredibly powerful. It's part of how we process things, how we settle,
