Hi everyone. Welcome to another bonus episode on Alta Call M-A-F-S. Today's bonus episode is a request that I got from a couple of you guys in the message section on Patreon,

and it is about Survivor.

I had to bring in a special guest for this one because I couldn't handle it on my own,

and who else to ask, but the wonderful, the co-host of a perfect match,

the co-host of the good pod, the co-host of love at first sight,

Mr. Jason Reed. Hi. Tane, Tane, good to be here. Listen, I know I'm only here because I'm the co-host

of Survivor 47 contestant, Asia Welch, you're trying to pump me for information.

And you know I have an expertise because I have one degree of separation away for a survivor

contestant. I get it. I'm being used. It's fine. I mean, you got me. You got me. But no, such a pleasure to have you here. And the only reason I got you was like, we did have offline conversations about, you know, Survivor before the cast came out. And then when it did come out, it was like, I want to hear all your thoughts about Survivor 47, Survivor in general, the cast. And I was like, you know, this would be a good thing. Let's just air it out. Yeah, let's do it. We have a lot of thoughts. So how are we feeling or how are you feeling about the cast announcement? Yeah. So, you know, I felt like I even put on social media. I was like, y'all were never going to be happy with the Survivor 50 cast.

That's true.

No matter what, everyone's going to cry, complain and moan, but I didn't think it was going to be this bad.

Like, you know, it's, and you know, the cast kind of, the cast, I'm sure to Jeff Jeff prope's dismay came out a little earlier than the announcement and so when you look at this like as a whole it's like this is just a weird combination of people yes it's. It's so odd.

And a lot of the decisions they made, I feel like I could replace that person with a better

person in their archetype for most of them.

For most of them.

There are some, there's some hits here that we have that we'll talk about.

And I'm like, okay, glad this person's here.

But other people, I'm like, but you couldn't have got this person, but you couldn't

have got that person.

And for, because the survivor really backed themselves to a corner, right?

Because they had this whole new era.

We're going to have no returnies.
