in the Old Testament accounts with their own failures, their own weaknesses,

the disappointments that surround their life,

and yet the Holy Spirit of God includes them in this record of faith.

I believe it is a reminder of the mercy and grace

of Almighty God. It is reminder that though we are all weak people, our God is strong. And though

we fail the Lord, the Lord is faithful to us. Could we read a few verses in Hebrews chapter 11,

beginning in verse number 30?

The Bible says, by faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were compassed about seven days.

By faith, the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not when she had received the spies with peace.

Could I just pause and point something very interesting out to you?

Because in verse 30, you have a record of the people who are marching around the walls of Jericho.

And in verse 31, you have the record of one woman who's living on the wall.
