Writer Jim Hill and my co-host, Dustin Fews, and I are recording this

podcast on Thursday, August 8th, 2019. So, did we do our due diligence this past weekend, does it? Do we go out and watch Hobbs and Shaw?

We're putting this off until it shows up on Netflix or whatever streaming service I can find it on.

I know you see this is the reason that Hobbs and Shaw did not do Fast and Furious

size businesses past weekend.

Don't get me wrong.

It sold 174.4 million worth of tickets state side, additional 119 overseas.

So I box office currently sits at

193.

Worldwide.

Not terrible, you know, I mean again movie costs 200 million to make but at the last

Fast and Furious film Fate of the Furious costs 250 to make so conventional wisdom is that this spin-off of Fast and Furious will do okay.

That you know, we'll by the end of the summer we'll be, you you know a certified hit so to speak and it's kind of interesting
