And the man of the hour Ralph Nader, low Ralph.

Hi, welcome.

We have a very controversial issue today, universal voting voting is a civic duty like Australia.

That's right.

Ralph, our first guest today will be EJ Dion, author of the new book, 100% democracy.

History has shown us that when more Americans have access to ballot, more Americans vote.

It's also shown us that when more Americans vote, the government does a better job of representing their interests.

In 100% democracy, Mr. Dion argues for universal civic duty voting and insists that requiring all eligible voters to vote isn't as radical as it sounds.

We look forward to speaking with him about how to combat voter suppression, how universal civic duty voting would work, and how other democracies have turned voting from a chore into a celebration.

After that, we'll welcome back our friend piece educator Coleman McCarthy to assess how we can achieve peace in Ukraine.

As always, somewhere in the middle, we'll check in with our corporate crime reporter, Rosalmo Kiber.

But first, we've changed the constitution before to expand voting access.

EJ Dion is a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution University professor in the foundations of democracy and culture at Georgetown University and visiting professor at Harvard University.

He writes about politics and in twice weekly column for the Washington Post, and he is co-author with Miles Rappaport of the book 100% democracy, the case for universal voting.
