Your life is united with Jesus in such a way that he becomes to us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption and so many other things.

The illustration, it always comes to my mind when I read this verse, is when Heather and I were

And in the days leading up to us getting married, I'm a year younger than she is.

So I was finishing up college, which meant I was living on no cash flow

ramen noodles for most of my meals, just scraping, getting by. She had graduated and had gotten a job

teaching. So she had cash flow, and she wasn't eating ramen noodles as much as I was at least.

And on that day, I received so many amazing things, most importantly, a beautiful wife who loves God with all her heart.
