It's 10 past 11 at night.

I've just got back from Wolves.

I got picked up from the Lake District where I'm staying over Christmas

with my family at 10 past 11, exactly 12 hours ago. And, well, you know, I lost again, 50 feet in

December. Happened last December before that was 1933. Could even be a 60 feet. Not sure whether that's ever

happened before. Um, certainly in a post-war period, ending a calendar month. If you know, it'd lose to

Newcastle or Old Trafford. I sound rough because I've got a cold like a lot of people. I'd like to

wish everybody all the very best over this festive period.

Don't let Manchester United get you down too much.

One day we will look back at this period with a sort of perverse joy that, yeah, I was there.

Things were that bad.

United fans have done this many times in their history.

City fans do it when they talk about a trip to York in 1999 but it's grim at the moment. It's really low at the moment.
