It's 9pm on Sunday night and I'm walking over the bridge

between the little city stadium and the big city stadium

as does to my left and further around to my left is the co-op arena where paul mccartney is currently

playing if i spin round i can see the etiad stadium and the skyline of Manchester, which was non-existent almost 20 years ago, 25 years ago, and now looks like a big North American city.

The lights on top of that skyline are red.

Today belongs to the reds after two late goals.

I could not see that coming at all, but it did come.

And the United have won.

A very rare win away from home against the team at the top.

City of won the league four years on the bounce and they had lots of flags to show that

but they're really struggling.

So the win moves United, well it doesn't move United, we're still a mid-table side, but

hugely encouraging that United had the spirit to come back, to persevere,

that Bruno had the balls to take the penalty, that Ahmad had one of his best games.

Ugarte have just spoken to, he had probably his best game.
