1:36.0	Today's topic, in a sense, we're going to be talking about something that has two parts.
1:41.0	But the overriding theme of what we're going to be talking about is unions, labor unions.
1:47.0	Now, obviously this has been in the news a lot, given the writers' guild and screen actors' guild strike.
1:53.0	A little bit less known, but certainly no less if not more important, is a potential strike with UPS, the United Parcel Service, that also has been in negotiations recently.
2:05.0	And we want to talk a little bit about the mechanics and the logic behind how unions function, how strikes in particular.
2:15.0	What do they do? What leverage or lack of leverage do strikers have?
2:20.0	And we're going to do this really in two parts.
2:23.0	We're first going to look at strikes that happen with, I suppose you could just say transportation organizations that the rail road, for example,
2:32.0	and UPS sort of fits in there as far as interstate commerce goes.
