If you're a regular viewer of the show, you might have seen us cut away from our regular

programming a couple of weeks ago to take a live press conference with President Donald

Trump and Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission.

It was just days before Trump's tariff deadline of August 1st,

and the two leaders were meeting in person in Scotland to hammer out a trade deal.

The press conference was potentially a big deal

because the EU is one of America's top trading partners.

Any details about a pending deal would have been big news

that could have had serious implications on the global economy.

On top of that, it was also happening as public interest and uproar was peaking over the government's decision not to release the Epstein files,

with a lot of interest in what the president might say and his answers to reporters' questions.

Here's how it unfolded.

The White House has wanted a ballroom for 150 years, but they never had a real estate person.
