I never know what I'm going to do until the light comes on.

And sometimes I'm still not entirely clear, precisely how we're going to handle things.

And long after the light has come on.

But I think we'll take a moment to give some credit to Sir Martin Moore. Bick, it's funny the stuff that gets overlooked.

He'd probably done more to reaffirm faith in public service, public duty, than every single

Conservative Cabinet Minister since 2010.

From where I'm sitting at least, he has delivered on an extraordinary scale in the face of originally considerable scepticism.

He has absolutely no agency over prosecutions, of course, or arrests.

But in terms of how far and how deep this inquiry went, I think Sir Martin

Morbick deserves the gratitude of a nation, actually. I really do. I mean, how often do we find

ourselves considering official inquiries inadequate or or unfit for purpose or grounds for cynicism,

skepticism, cover up, accusations of cover up.
