We have satcheted our way out of another heat wave it would seem and now the rains have started.

So don't worry, we'll be keeping you update with cool of course the weather that you will need to know about throughout the course of the day.

Kevin O'Sullivan was just telling us that you got absolutely soaked up in North London this morning.

Meanwhile, here, in the middle of London, it doesn't seem too bad.

But there's lots to talk about this morning, to wit, loads of migrant stories around.

We've got stories saying that the French who have been supposedly paid hundreds of millions of euros

in order to stop the migrants from leaving

French shores. I basically not stopping them from leaving French shores. I think this is the least

surprising news of the day, but congratulations to Delhi Express for doing a pretty good

investigation into it, where they've actually gone over to France to see what it is that the

local gendarmerie have actually got to say for themselves. And what they've got to say for themselves is that actually they feel a bit sorry for some

of these migrants and so they basically don't stop them because they're like helping them

because they're people in dire straits.

Well not all of them are, as we know, because two of them have now been locked up for the

crime of illegally attempting to enter Britain.

Now it seems to me, and I've been talking about this

since Sunday, and I mentioned it yesterday on the show, that if you are trying to come to Britain

illegally, despite what the lefties say, you are trying to come to Britain illegally. And if you

can be locked up for trying to come to Britain illegally, and there's two of you, then why can't

we lock up another 20,000 people who are trying to come to Britain illegally?
