| 1:21.1 | These seasonal cycles are all unique and deeply specific to place. |
| 1:25.6 | Whether it's the bud and bloom of a blossom, the turning and falling of leaves, |
| 1:29.3 | or the transformation of water as it freezes and melts. |
| 1:33.3 | And when we devote our attention to these cycles over time, their continuous variation reveals itself, |
| 1:40.3 | unfurling like a spiral that draws us deeper into kinship with place and with the earth. |

| 1:52.0 | we distance ourselves from our cycles, thinking we are impervious to them. |
