Summary
In the quiet farm fields of rural Nebraska, a 120-year-old house stood seemingly ordinary—until something hidden beneath it was uncovered.
When the home’s new owner discovered a strange wooden box tucked away in the cellar, its contents raised immediate questions. Inside were unsettling items: part of an unfamiliar book, a piece of coal, and a doll unlike anything he’d seen before. Unsure of what he was dealing with, he reached out to paranormal investigators Alan Megargle and Jesse Morgan. What began as a simple investigation quickly grew into something far more disturbing.
That discovery became the foundation for the documentary A Haunting in Blue Hill, which follows a team of investigators as they explore the origins of the box and the spirits seemingly tied to it—and to the home itself. As communication begins, it becomes clear that the objects were not random, and the cellar was not chosen by accident.
