Episode 9.

This podcast is intended for an adult audience. Hello listeners and welcome back to Underwood and Flinch. It's been some time since our last meeting and so very briefly here's a synopsis of the story so far.

It's 50 years since the vampire, Lord Underwood, lay down to rest in the cellar of his house in

And Lucia, Spain.

Now the time for his resurrection is fast approaching and preparations are underway.

But who will lead the ceremony and go on to be the guardian of Underwood once he is resurrected.

The job has always fallen to the eldest born male of the Flinch family line, and since John Flinch passed away in our last episode,

that makes his younger brother, David, the next in line. But David doesn't want the job. He is horrified

by the prospect and would much rather his sister Lydia take the position.

It's what she wants and it's what she's quite determined to have.

But John made David swear on the sword of their ancestor, Mathias Flinch, to take the position

and to be sure that Lydia didn't get it.

Why? Well that remains to be seen though as we fade into this week's

episode we can see no sign of David or Lydia or anyone else we know. Instead we see a middle-aged Spanish

businessman finishing up in his office for the evening with a definite spring in his step.

Who is he?

Well, let's just say he knows someone that we know.

Someone you may have forgotten about, though if our businessman leaves his office and takes

the elevator down to the street, which it looks like he's going to do, then it's someone to whom you will soon

be reintroduced as we enter Chapter 8.
