Welcome listeners, before we resume our tale, a quick recap on the story so far.

David Flinch received a letter from his estranged family's solicitors telling him that his brother

John is dying of cancer at the family's home in Andalusia, Spain.

David is the next in line of the children, fathered by Arthur Flinch, to become

the guardian and servant of the Lord Underwood. This isn't a job that he wants, and because Underwood is a vampire.

Nevertheless, David has decided to go to Spain to reunite with John and his eldest sister Lydia.

Unlike David, Lydia considers herself to be a true servant of the Lord Underwood and wants the job of Guardian badly, badly enough perhaps to kill for it.

We also met the Russian gangster Sergei Alexandrov.

Sergei's men tortured and questioned drug dealer Mark Coleman in a swimming pool in Ibebitha, Spain.

Mark was indirectly involved in the murder of Sergei's nephew and two of his men.

He claimed he was set up and he willingly told all he knew, which consisted, really, only of the

names of the men directly involved, Mullins, Hodges, and Sullivan. Mark believed that the three were now living in Portugal, but as we fade

into this week's episode we see one of those men, Keith Mullins, scratching himself in the morning sun.

Not in Portugal, but well, all is about to be revealed as we enter.

Chapter 5.

Keith Mullins sat on his son terrace reading the online edition of the Sun newspaper. The Terrace was at the

rear of the two-story apartment on top of the pub that he and his partner Michelle had bought last year in the little town of almacina, Kediz.

A fly buzzed around and landed on Keith's face. He slapped himself, but missed the fly. It flew away.
