Episode 39.

Hello listeners and welcome back to Underwood and Flinch.

In recent episodes we've seen how, much to David's great relief, Underwood has changed his mind about making Michelle his

vampire bride. Instead, on this night that our story is taking place, Underwood and Flinch set off in the opposite direction to

Almasina, traveling for miles before reaching the strip club, El Chupaton. Here David told Underwood his story, a story that ended with the two of them falling out,

David getting fired, and Underwood killing the club's management and security personnel.

In the midst of the carnage, David received a telephone call from Lydia.

She was outside Lorena de Corazones.

There were men with guns.

She was frightened, in danger, and was desperate for David to bring Underwood.

And then she was cut off.

Underwood and Flinch were then reunited in their determination to come to her aid,

but are they too late?

As episode 39 begins, we fade into the Rayna de Corazones, where Keith and Michelle,

their minds still thoroughly enslaved by Underwood Spell are waiting for their master to return.

Waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting. Waiting. the open door to the patio. Sounds from the pub below drifted up. It had just closed for the night and

she could hear Keith, Demo and Hodge going through the motions of tidying things up, their voices, the clatter of terrace tables

being stacked, the occasional laugh. Music came on. It was quiet, but she recognized Acidee. A popular choice after the bar closed. Nice to work to, and nice to sit back with once the work was done. But there would be no more nights tidying up after the close of Lorena for her.

No more sitting around with the staff at the end of the shift with a few cold beers laughing about the events of the evening and life in general.

Nothing quite so good as that first sip of cold beer after a long night of dishing it out to everybody other than you and your own friends.
