Episode 38.

Hello listeners and welcome once again to Underwood and Flinch.

Last time Underwood and Flinch went for a drive in the opposite

direction to Alma Sena and came upon a strip club. David was reluctant to go in. He had a feeling that the establishment might be holding

the dancers against their will. Underwood ignored his protestations and led the way inside. Here he got David to start telling his story.

David explained how his mother had come to find Casa Underwood and Arthur Flinch back in the early 70s, how she had been

manipulated into having a child with Arthur and how that child had been David. He also explained how he believes his mother's boyfriend

may have been murdered by Arthur and the sect, and how, although his mother was able to eventually move back to England, she had to raise David under the auspices of two sect members called Bob and Iris.

When we left Underwood and Flinch last time, Underwood had just smelled fear on a lap dancer and commented that David may be right in his belief that the women may not be there entirely of their own free

will. David tried to leave, but Underwood forbade him, telling him to finish his story. David reluctantly sat down, but there was a condition.

David sat down. All right, but if I'm going to stay here and go on with this story,

his eyes went to Underwood's drink

where the beads of perspiration had settled into a wet pool at the base.

Underwood smiled.

Ah yes, I understand.

He held up a hand to the waitress. Seniorita, Doss Jinitonicas, poor for for?

He turned back to David.

Now then, where were we?

I don't remember.
