Episode 12

Hello listeners and welcome to episode 12 of Underwood and Flinch. Before we begin this

latest thrilling installment, let's just have a quick recap on what has gone

before.

David Flinch took advantage of what he thought was a perfect opportunity to kill the

vampire Lord Underwood as he lay in his coffin in the cellar of Casa Underwood. But David failed, due to what

Conchita assures him was a series of strange hallucinations brought on by fear, grief and concussion.

David acknowledges that he may have been seeing things, but privately at least,

he attributes these hallucinations to a more sinister source, namely Underwood.

But we begin this week's episode, not in the company of David, but our old friend Keith Mullins, the landlord of

Lorena de Corazones pub. Keith you may remember sold his old pub to Russian

gangster Sergei Alexandrov after Sergei's men stabbed Pete Sweeney, one of Keith's staff in a bar fight.

Keith, his wife Michelle and their daughter Melanie moved along with

faithful barman and bouncers, Hodge and Daimo, to almsina. A year after moving, Keith, Hodge and Daimo returned to the coast in an attempt on Sergei's life

that resulted in the death of three of Sergei's men, including his nephew. In order to do this, they set up

drug dealer Mark Coleman as a middleman, and now Mark Coleman's head has turned up on a sea-front bench, minus its body.

Keith suspect Sergei is Mark's murderer, and he's right. So is it time for Keith to tell Michelle who knows nothing

of his murderous act of revenge about at least some of what he has done, for her own sake if not his, or should he

continue to keep it to himself. As it happens, Fate is about to provide an answer to that question as we shimmer in through the heat haze

to Underwood and Flinch, Chapter 9.
