Hello listeners, how are you? I hope you're well. Quick bit of news. I'm in the process of

releasing Underwood and Flinch onto YouTube at the moment between three and five episodes a week

and the first novel, season one in podcast terms, is almost complete there. I'm doing this because AI told me it was a huge

podcast platform and that Underwood and Flint really had to be there. It was vital for my

continued existence in this world. I'd reach a whole new audience. It'll be amazing. So of course,

I started uploading the episodes and guess what?

Totally random results. Some episodes get about eight views, others get around 300, but that's about it.

So when I asked AI why my podcast wasn't doing what it said it would on this amazing podcast engine,

it told me it was because Underwood and Flinch is an audiobook podcast. The types of podcasts that

do well are the Talking Head Type podcasts where people talk about politics and niche topics,

where the listener can drop into any episode anywhere at random.

Oh, well, thank you very much for finally telling me that AI.

Honestly, all that work and the only people I've reached so far, it seems to me at least,

are existing listeners who are giving the show a second or third listen.

What can you do, eh?

Oh, well, at least when I finish the process, the podcast will be there.

Discoverable and maybe one day, if ever the algorithm should deign to share the podcast with

anyone, I may yet reach new ears in the future, sometime, whenever.
