Hello listeners. Last week our episode was late thanks to a power cut caused by the first storm of the season, Storm Arwen.

And now, as if to make up for it, this week's episode is a day early, thanks to the second storm of the season, Storm Barra, which is due to hit tomorrow.

I don't know if I'm going to get my power knocked out, but it does tend to happen, rather like clockwork whenever there's a storm, so I'm airing on the side of caution and getting the episode up early, just in case.

So in this episode, scene shifts again and this time

back to Spain for a reunion with a character from the original Underwood and

Flinch novel.

There's no need to tell you who it is, because, you know, you'll find out in a minute,

but, you know, just in case it's been a long time since you listen to the story,

that's who it is. And finally, before we begin, do please stay tuned right to the end of this

podcast because there is a blooper reel and as you listen to it you might think well what was that I didn't I didn't

notice anything there but if you turn the volume up really loud you can hear my

stomach gurgling now this is one of the worst things that can happen when you're recording.

You're working away and all of a sudden your stomach starts kicking off for no good reason.

Normally if it's like a sort of a plane going over or a bunch of cars or motorbikes going past,

you can just stop the recording, wait till it's gone and then resume.

But with your stomach, it's just an unpredictable entity you don't know when it's going to kick off how long for or what it's going to sound like

Of course if you find that sort of thing you know rather, rather gross and disgusting, then don't listen to the end.

But personally, I find it really quite funny.
