it's beneficial to know the background

or some things about that audience.

So when Allah is talking to the Jewish and Christian people, then it's also beneficial to know

something about Jewish and Christian history and who these people are, what their

tradition is, because Allah is interacting directly with them and the Quran is

oftentimes directly interacting with their material,

their work, and what they believe.
