| 1:53.0 | And so one thing my dad did is he said, I'm going to have you start doing pull-ups and push-ups before you walk into the house each day. So he said five days a week, before you walk in the door, I'm going to have you start doing one set at least of pull-ups and push-ups. And so I started doing this every day. I got home from school, would get off the school bus, and I would walk into the garage. My dad had put up a pull-up bar, and I would do one set of pull-ups. And then I would do one set of push-ups. By the way, by the end of high school, I was able to do over 30 pull-ups. And I'm talking about very, very strict pull-ups. It was because I was focused on just getting a little bit better every day.
