Having grown up in the church and left it, Black says he isn't surprised.

it recently, but people in my Twitter feeds, certainly my scientifically curated Twitter feed were shocked that Disney, the Disney board re-uped Bob Chappick as CEO for three more years.

You know, Bob Chapik has had a lot of troubles that we've talked about on the show, but they decided either that they didn't have a better option or that he was the good option.

They said they voted unanimously to extend him.

And that has been a long time coming.

They let it go quite late.

People noted the statement of support they issued to him after he created a third controversy,

major controversy in his tenure by very unceremoniously firing Peter Rice's head of

TV content a few weeks ago. So it seemed clear at that point. They were going to renew him.

But I'm not sure, you know, that you say, okay, well, that's it then. Bob Chapic for three more

years, people will be watching him very, very closely. And I would say that there's a certain
