I know I missed it on Saturday. I had tickets to the Mets Mariners game that I took my son to, not realizing that the Niners were playing. Total screw up on my part. I apologize. So I didn't get a chance to pop on right after the game. So I have thoughts on what happened then. I have thoughts on what the 49ers have done since. Some of the injuries that's come out and all of that stuff.

And we will get to all of it.

Vish couldn't join us tonight because his apartment is essentially being fumigated and he can't get in.

So he's unable to join us.

Normally, he's here on Monday and we go through drive by drive the story of the game and break

it all down and that's normally what we will do every Monday for you here on the show but let's just

dive right into what happened in the game because I think that there's something that did took

that took place excuse me that people aren't talking about I think it's important and that is

the Niners closed out the game, which is something we all know.

They could not do last year.

And not the only did they close it out.

They closed it out with their special teams, their special teams and their defense mostly.

That is amazing.

That is not something that we could have dreamed of last season and yet it happened

and i think that people got caught up in the jake moodiness of everything but i think they missed

the forest through the trees and i wrote about this on my patreon page and i wrote it about it

for our members on the YouTube

page, this is something that we didn't see last year. And it was refreshing. Every drive in the

second half ended in a field goal for the 49ers. And on the flip side, the Niners defense did not allow a touchdown and forced two

turnovers. So it was the defense and the special teams that closed out this victory. And I get it

preseason, you know, all the caveats, right? Backups were in, yada, yada, yada. It's only one game.
